Hello to everybody,

I have the following doubts about the  GRIDSEED GC3355 powerpack, I am refering to this product: http://cryptomining-blog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/gridseed-5-chip-gold-scrypt-asic.jpg

I know that exist some powerpack that feed more then one GridSeed unit at the same time, something like this: http://www.ebay.it/itm/alimentatore-gridseed-360W-litecoin-miner-/301163940555?pt=Alimentatori_per_PC_e_Server&hash=item461ec50acb

My questions are:

Searching online I also found some simple cables (very cheap) like these:

1) hhttp://www.ebay.it/itm/Gridseed-power-adapter-cable-4-pin-MOLEX-to-three-3-male-barrel-2-1mm-X-5-5mm-/111335645511?pt=US_Power_Cables_Connectors&hash=item19ec1f2147

2) http://www.ebay.it/itm/pcie-6-pin-to-10-pcs-plugs-of-gridseed-power-cable-easy-power-for-scrypt-miner-/121327139857?pt=US_Power_Cables_Connectors&hash=item1c3fa93c11

My doubt are: where do I connect them? can I use the powerpack of an old desktop computer? or what?

Whatever you do, buy a new power supply (or powerpack as you call it).

okay   My first assumption is  you only want to run this for scrypt and will use software that only allows for scrypt.

This is very important to understand.  If you only run them as scrypt miners.  they do not use a lot of power.

I will post links for you.

this is a very heavy duty set of wires it runs 6 miners

 http://www.gawminers.com/6-pin-pcie-to-3-x-2-1mm-barrel-tip-power-cable/

if you add this to it.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0050H9A18/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

a five chip round unit in scrypt is under 10 watts.  so a pci-e wire can do 6 units easy.

 I use this psu

http://www.amazon.com/Antec-EA-650-Platinum-Power-Supply/dp/B0064LWI40/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1399002126&sr=1-1&keywords=antec+earthwatts+platinum

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371056

I run my pc and 30 five chip units total power is 292 watts.

Here is my ebay listing I am selling 1 gridseed.   but the photos are messy.

I designed the stand wrong and have been too busy to rebuild it.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=151291511251&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT

all power supplies other then a platinum psu are not smart for a 30 piece setup.

My setup does 292-297 watts including the pc.  If I used bricks or a psu like your link I use 350-375 watts.
