Thanks for that second credit, as for video tutorials I know they are there but in my opinion people have short attention span these days and not many will bother watching those, you need to make clear how the system works from the interface alone. And another thing that wasn't that clear to me is what are the limits when betting those unders/overs, for example yesterday i put that second credit you gave me on Harden over 37.5 because last listed over-bet was 36.5, my logic was basically "I need to make higher over bet than the one listed to win", what if I put bet on 35.5 or i dunno 20.5, would I still win?
Good point about the tutorial vids.
We'll be working over the weekend to get some more instructions and clarity on how betting works in the interface for sure.
And as for your Harden Bet example, there are no limits to what you can do, its more about your strategy.
You had the right correct logic of making your bet more appealing for someone to take tho.
If you were to bet OVER 35.5 or OVER 20.5 your bet would be less appealing for someone to take in comparison to the OVER 37.5 bet.
Since someone would think why would i bet against harden going over 20.5 when its a better bet to bet against harden going OVER 37.5.
So the idea is for all of our users to create the "true" line based on supply and demand.
If you think about it, our system works just like a regular bitcoin exchange (campbx, bitstamp, ect) except instead of buying and selling BTC based on
whether you think the value is going up or down, your basically buying or selling OVERS and UNDERS based on what you think a player's point totals will be.
So in a bitcoin exchange the price of BTC is determined by the supply and demand of current BTC Buyers and BTC sellers.
The current price/exchange rate that bitstamp, campbx, ect show are only the suggested prices based on the last few trades on those exchanges. It is not the actual price, the prices will always be determined by the users not the exchange, therefore it will always fluctuate based on current action and never be just one set price.
our system works exactly the same so if 10 people have Harden OVER 36.5 on the board, by you putting your bet at OVER 37.5 your bet will show above theirs and get taken first since its a better value for someone to take just like if you were selling btc on bitstamp and everybody was selling there's for $500 and you put yours for sale for $499 yours would get sold first.
So we're definitely working to improve clarity on this so players can have a fun betting experience with us! Again id like to thank you for your feedback and your suggestion will be improved for sure.
Thanks!
