Hi, I just noticed a port conflict between the globalboost rpcport (8223) and the default Armory (bitcoin wallet) inter-processes port. When I started the linux globalboost-qt wallet, I got a Port already in use error for port 8223. Armory is a fairly popular secure btc wallet, so I don't know if it would be worth considering whether BST might want to change the default rpcport.. But I'm just going to point it out.. Probably a good one for the troubleshooting FAQ... I did a little searching, and found this: https://bitcoinarmory.com/download/troubleshooting/(at the end under command line options) --interport=NUMBER # Armory inter-process port (8223) It seems pretty easy to change the port for Armory, at least for the tech-savvy... I haven't tried it, I just shut my armory wallet down for the time being.. Cheers! |
