Does anyone know how to take over someone elses thread?  The DIEM dev has been MIA for a few days now and we really need to update the OP due to an influx of interest.  Who would I talk to?

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Theymos is the only one that can do it.  Requires a database edit.

(Move this to Meta so he will see it)

I don't think theymos will let you take over a thread without the OP's consent.

That thread should be https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=576036.0
I can do it. Post the details here or PM me. The new OP must agree to it.
