I use a HD 7850 graphics card and get generally around 250Mhps.

Is that normal? My average minting speed is also 0.0005 which i've seen,
people with lesser Mhps than me get better average minting speeds.

I also get around 0.00000779 BTC farming for around 6 hours..
My Expected per block is also low.

How do i increase this and is there anything i'm doing wrong?

You could get a slightly better hashrate with overclocking.

But, you should use your GPU to mine scrypt altcoins (or scrypt-n, scrypt-jane, etc.) and trade them for bitcoin instead of mining bitcoin.

I guess you mine only for fun? with these specs you wont be making much in any way only If you get more hash but still this wont be profitable.
