Pretty site but I wonder why we should send through email if we can just send directly to the persons wallet? And that is much safer i think. Or there is something else that i  don't fully understand?

In order for crypto currencies to be adopted by the main-stream consumer, it has to be simplified and easy to use. By sending these gifts to your friends and family who are still not into the crytpo-currency scene, they have more of an incentive to support it, and help it grow to new heights. It's also a very convenient gift if you ever forget to buy one as well...

Your example email looks exactly like spam my non-technical friends know to delete. Right down to the "this is not unsolicited email" at the bottom. Basically most people, if they receive unexpected email from an unknown source that promises them money, will bin it without even reading it fully.

I'm not sure what the solution to that is. Possibly you could include some optional personal information from the sender, so at least it can say something like "Your good friend Bobby Jones has sent you…" Even that might not be enough.

It's a radically different direction but the sites that send physical goods through the postal mail may fare better. e.g. the physical copper doge coins. Fancy paper wallets for same won't cost much, but clearly there are still problems of scale when you're talking postal mail vs electronic mail.

You can replace the default message for your own message, and just in-case no one accepts the gift, the sender will be refunded after 30 days.

Blockchain is great for BitCoin, but it has a lot of other technical things that most people don't care about (not me) and a normal user might get lost in bitcoin difficulty or hash rate or any of the helpful stats they have. With the help of some feedback from the community here, LoveCrypto's email system has become much more personalized. The recipient's name now shows up clearly in the email, as well as the sender's name, in order to clear things up

This is a cool idea, I like it...seems a little sketchy going through email though.   I'm sure they have worked pretty hard on making it as secure as possible.   I really like the ability to send BTC through text message like another service has started doing as well...

What is the problem your application is attempting to solve?

That would require the recipient to download wallets and make accounts for sites they aren't comfortable using. This is meant to be an easy way to introduce people to crypto-currency, and to send a quick gift to someone easily. While a paper wallet is nice, its not really viable if your recipient isn't close to you. LoveCrypto has many great resources for a new crypto-holder to learn about crypto-currencies as well. The problem we're trying to solve is the difficulty of being a part of cryptos in general. By making it easy, more people will accept them and use them. I hope this answers your questions
