Hi,
I am looking for a BTC market place to sell stuff (a Radeon 7990). Does anyone have experience with cryptothrift.com? Or can you recommend some other site?
Best, Troels

Cryptothrift is a trustworthy site, however, some of the sellers on there might not be. Check their individual feedback and use the escrow provided and you should be ok.

Yes Cryptothrift.com is trustworthy site, I use it for many months now. So far so good. Always check the escrow option and trade only to users with positive feedback's.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback!
Just to add to this, CryptoThrift is now registered with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) where our business address and other information is publicly available. We will be adding this information along with personal profiles of the CryptoThrift team to our website soon. Our aim is to increase trust in the site by being open with our customers and giving as much visibility into our business as we can. Traffic statistics are already available on the site via the Statistics menu for anyone interested.
Thanks Paul

Far from it! We are in the process of establishing our business plans for the next 5 years and making preparations for a major site rewrite (over the next 12 months). We're not planning on going anywhere!

cryptothrift.com is trustworthy and i would trust them to buy just about anything. although since it is new i wouldnt want to send a million dollars but they are registered with asics so that is a plus and little reassuring

The site is legit, but not all trades there are legit. Yah there's some really shifty looking coin to paypal deals with huge bonus over spot. The sellers of coin are leaving feedback like they're getting paid right away, but my worry is that they won't STAY paid, it smells of stolen paypal accounts, stolen credits cards or something like that.

We're working hard to eradicate fraudulent items and have employed someone to check new posts daily for us to remove the obvious ones. The others get IP banned as soon as we confirm they are fraudulent. There are some good tips on cautious buying on our blog for newcomers https://cryptothrift.com/too-good-to-be-true/

Thanks again everyone.
@paulthetafy, you write that you are starting a major site rewrite. I have a wish list:
1) More flexible pricing on shipping.
I have listed PLA for 3D printing, each spool weighs 2.3 kg and hence sending one spool is rather expensive 77CHF. However, sending two spools cost nearly the same, and sending four spools is around 120. I would like to set a base price of 70$ for one item, and 15$ for every additional item, but this is not possible with your current system.
I also list a Radeon 7990 (brand new) and a matching EK Waterblock (unopened and brand new) for 699$. Since this is an expensive item I would like different shipping options such as "standard insured with tracking" and "express, insured with tracking". For other items in the future, I might want to have these two options together with "economy shipping".
2) It appears to me that you cannot add properties to items yet. For the PLA I would like people to be able to select which color they want and at the same time have the site to keep track of how many of the various colors I have left.
3) It would be really cool if you could set up shops like you can on ebay.
You probably already thought about these things, but I thought it would be useful to give you some feedback on your site.

Usually on such kind of sites, the sellers are the ones not to be trusted and not the site. Try dealing to those who are with records already.
