I mean whether they run a business like Matt or some individual with a casino hobby. They can only afford to "give away" so much BTC so the chances of more spots opening is usually slim to none.

But he does have a point, though. Life works in a first-come, first-serve basis. For example, if somebody gets a job and a week later another person shows up wanting the same job, then the employer wouldn't simply say "Oh, well, I'll fire our guy so that you can have a chance."
