the only resolution is to create your own cult, and live out in the mountains as their leader.. where you will conduct multiple orgies and grow your own food via compost.

i like to fantasize about myself being a cult leader.. basically "you, take off your shirt. you, bend over." and if a guy is in the group, i'd kick him out unless he was able to tithe 50% of his income.

At least we can vote for a local representative and ultimately a leader for the country. They may not be doing a good job from your perspective, but it is miles better than other 3rd world countries. The government can do better, agreed, but I am marginally content with what we have.

These politicians have let our country be eroded from the inside by letting our agriculture slip, manufacturing jobs leave the country, and made finance type jobs a valuable job. Our top paying jobs don't actually provide a service for anyone, they just find ways to "invest" your money. Hopefully enough people start to make a plan for change. It probably won't happen until the next world war happens.

It's interesting how so many people complain about the U.S. when many other countries are way worse. Of course, that doesn't mean they're doing well, but it's the only place I see complains about.

Could you make a lost of the countries where the National Security Agency hacks in to your FaceBook / Twitter page and access your private data? Also, can you tell me which are the countries which tap phone data from all of its citizens?

It's interesting how so many people complain about the U.S. when many other countries are way worse. There are probably many countries that treat their own citizens worse, but as far as a country thinking they're above international law and can do what they want to any other country and its people, then there's no greater terrorist threat than the mighty USG. That's just the way it is until they change their ways. They can start by stopping doing all this: Could you make a lost of the countries where the National Security Agency hacks in to your FaceBook / Twitter page and access your private data? Also, can you tell me which are the countries which tap phone data from all of its citizens?

I get the same living in Britain, everyone always whining. But I guess I realise that it's the whining that causes change. Enough people whine = change. Never been to the US, but I assume in general it's better to live there than most countries. Why? Because you guys are constantly whining! You have a country where you are free to whine (lots of people would live in fear of their lives if they badmouthed their respective countries). I'm convinced that Britain is a great place to live because we're a nation of moaners...............nothing more British than moaning (with a cup of tea in one hand)

if you class British as 'white British' then no, I'm brown. Mother from Bangladesh, father from India - but I was born here, as in Britain
Is that good enough?
p.s and I do love tea
