I have a problem, i've just made all the step to register to get free coins, but when i put my id number, it say nothing and i dont see my name in the tracking system ?

Set signature first, and your wallet address on signature then go to site and fill in your id and submit.. Use chrome, seems some issue on firefox.

Sharecoin looks like a great coin. I'm a newbie though, and have restriction on signature - max 50 characters (I think). Can I still join? I tried to just add my ShareCoin address to my sig, but when I tried to enter my account number on the application form it did not validate.

What sig can a newbie use?

The sharecoin-qt.pro file has been modified to build on Windows. You need to remove these lines to be able to build qt on ubuntu:

You can build the coin daemon to use on ubuntu instead of building the qt client, it's much easier.

Found the same thing myself: I clicked the submit button a few times before I figured out that registration was automatic once the button was clicked. There is such a thing as a webapp being too convenient.

After a bit of frustration, I realized it was firefox causing my problems. Chrome seems to work fine. Not sure about other browsers yet.

I fixed the firefox bug. Deploying now, the web app should works fine on firefox after 5 minutes.
