tl;drI'm sharing my humble idea to make a game that may become a great business alongside ShareXCoin.
In the last few days I was thinking about some kind of project that could help to increase the popularity of sharecoin and ShareXcoin. I wanted a project that satisfy the the needs and desire of the dev.
Here the objectives of Zip (as far as I know, I may be wrong on some points):
- He created Sharecoin as a way to distribute Feeshare (and profit of his company) among users dedicated to his project (not random people who are here just to collect any freebies offered).
- After the initial Sharecoins distribution, Zip offer different ways to recycle the coins so we can buy more Feeshares later. Mainly 1)high interest for locked coins and 2)multipool (even though this pool is pretty dead).
- We know that Zip has project for a gambling website.
- Another project in development is a distribution platform.
I think I got an idea that will satisfy to each of his objective. It's not a perfect idea. Some brainstorming need to be done.
At first I though about a gambling website with an negative house edge. Yep, negative. Usually the house make profit with an edge of x%. Leaving the rest of the bets to the gamblers. This is a loss system for all gamblers. If you play for a long time, on average, you will lose x% to the house.
A negative house edge mean that on average gamblers will make profit. Isn't a great promise to attract consumers? The "loss" of the house is paid with the sharecoin they want to recycle. So that's free money, but given to dedicated users (since they must spend sharecoins to hope to win more).
I think it's a good idea but I'm afraid that it will cannibalize the real gambling project. As a Feeshare holder, I want a casino that make profit, not one that give free money.
Also, I don't like to play pure random gambling game. So let me offer another idea that I will actually use.
My main idea is to create a random game based where you need to bet some Sharecoin to play. In return you can win Sharecoin and other prize. The game I have in mind is
https://www.mafiainc.com/ A multiplayer game, all you have to do is to click on a box and reveal the hidden prize. When a player find the jackpot, the round finish and a new grid appear. The game is free, you are allowed to click on 50 boxes per day. You can also pay to play. Pay X$ to click on Y boxes. Also the prize has more value. What make this game fun (in my opinion) is that every box contain a prize. Even if it's a small prize, I don't feel like I totally wasted my time & money. There is also a social componant where you can create a gang. Special prizes are shared among the gang. Some prize let you steal others gangs, etc.
I've seen a game before (sorry, I cannot find it now) where you can bet bitcoin to click on boxes and win. But it was really boring. Most boxes were empty and there has no fun theme. Just a ugly monocolor grid. Nothing to make me return.
Finally my idea is this:
Make a game like Mafia Inc (instead of mafia, the theme could be the Far West and the Goldrush). Make the game free or force to pay to play? I'm not sure what's the best. But a pay-to-play grid must exist. Of course, the only way to pay will be with Sharecoin. In return you also win Sharecoin. The return probability must be calculated in a way that on average you win more than you spend (the loss of the house is paid with recycled Sharecoins). In Mafia Inc you can win and collect cards. If you get the whole set, you trade it for a big prize. Here the big prize could be a Feeshare, why not?
Also, other coin dev's could sponsor some grids. Sponsoring a grid would mean that players can reveal some boxes containing their coins, instead of the usual Sharecoin. Of course, this coin will be tradable on ShareXcoin. This would be a fun giveaway and that will make a good promotion for the game AND the exchange.
Maybe the game and ShareXcoin could share the same wallet? In this way you make it easy for players to exchanges their coin in our exchange instead of going to the competitors.
To summarize, here why this game would satisfy the need of the SHARE dev.- Recycle and distribute Sharecoins to dedicated users (you must take time to play and bet to receive those coins).
- The game can be a part of the future gambling website.
- Is a good complement to the distribution patform. Giveaway being integrated to the game.
- Altcoin giveaway + social componant of the game make a good promotion for the Sharecoins and ShareXcoin.
- The social componant also increase the community spirit among the SHARE holders.
- May increase the Sharecoin's price by creating a demand (you need to buy some to play).
But like I said, this is not a perfect idea. Here the problem I see:
Mafia Inc is copyrighted by DreamCentury Entertainment. You cannot just copy it. Maybe if we ask they will agree to sell a license? Maybe the asked price will be too high anyway? So we need creative people to create a game inspired by Mafia Inc but different enough to avoid copyright infringment.
Unless you buy a license, that seem a big project. But I'm confident in the programming skills of Zip's team. I'm sure they can take the challenge.
Anyway, I just wanted to share my idea. I hope you will all think it's a good idea, if not it's OK. Feel free to suggest better ideas. Together we may build something great! I wish I had the time, skill and money to take this project in hand but nope. In my hand the project will fail, so I prefer to share my idea and maybe one day come back as a player (maybe with a special rebate? Or access to special VIP grid? lol)
