We need a few testers for Wallet Version 3.0

You are free to compile wallet and test out changes and report any issues that may have been missed.

https://github.com/flappycoin-project/Flappycoin-Rebirth

You need anything specifically tested? Do you have test addresses set up to send and receive from or something along those lines? LMK.

Just sending and receiving between wallets.

Keep in mind effectively 3.0 and 2.0.0.1 are the "same" so theirs no "internal difference" so it should work perfectly fine. We just don't want people using it till launch. 3.0 is just a rewrite from litecoin source, we just want to make sure it's compatible so testing on Windows XP systems, sending/receiving some coins etc.

Wallet 3.0 is effectively finished.

It is a stable rewrite, we are releasing it for testing now if you want to compile and check things work correctly. This wallet won't create forks, and is compatible with previous wallets so their should be no issues sending between wallets. Effectively they are the same wallet, this is the stable rewrite. If you don't know how to compile we can't help with that, this is just a early release for people wanting to test and tinker with it to make sure there are no bugs or issues.

https://github.com/flappycoin-project/Flappycoin-Rebirth

Please again remember. If you don't know how to compile we suggest just skipping/ignoring version 3.0 posts until we do the official release.

Would it be possible to implement the flappycoin game in such a way that it could be used as another method of finding or salting blocks?  The users interactions might be used as a salt or some sort of modified proof of stake sort of thing (pay say one flappycoin per game, which is included like a transaction fee and who ever finds the block (miner or player) keeps the block subsidy and fees (like it is now)).  It would generate a lot of public appeal because of the games popularity...

The old developers tried this, didn't work out and caused incompatibility issues everywhere. It's possible, but we are far more concerned with getting things back to where they were, and we care about stability.

Their is a flappycoin game that will be put back up on the website, but that's another project we're working on.

I don't hate the idea, but implementation of it is not easy, and only a few coins have demonstrated they could insert games that run along blockchain with out issues. Most ultimately failed, and many people think it's a pretty simple thing to do. It's actually a hugely massive undertaking, in the future? Sure. For now, it's not in any of the plans to insert the game into the wallet.

Well if that's what it says on op and mining details for rewards then I would say so yes.

I really wish block explorers/exchanges would update that information we already told them to.

There is no longer 100 billion coins being produced. The number has been dropped to a soft cap of 65-70 billion over 1.5 years. Afterwards we will generate roughly 100 million a year.

A question for devs or coin creator. I have flappys in an exchange are these now dormant due to the new updates and amount of total coins being minted. Or are my coins still valid for being minted just the total coin amount is now less then originally was meant to be. Thanks

A question for devs or coin creator. I have flappys in an exchange are these now dormant due to the new updates and amount of total coins being minted. Or are my coins still valid for being minted just the total coin amount is now less then originally was meant to be. Thanks
No, exchanges updated their wallets so you still have your coins.

I believe the only exchange that did not was cryptorush but they are gone for good I believe...

They probably sold their users' flappycoins anyways "to cover other deficit wallets" like they did with several other coins...
