Looking to buy a BF3 key. I don't want to have to use a VPN all the time, so gamerkeys is out. Would like an authentic US BF3 key.

The op of gamerkeys is dogeing us right now as to where our webhosting is. I doubt you can get support also seeing as my BF3 key is now banned that I bought from them. |

Yeah, I definitely don't want to mess with it. It's for someone else, so it needs to be as simple as possible to get online for them.

Ya but GamerKeys does not work... I still have not figured out how to get my BF3 to run in English after 10 times of following their instructions. |

Ya but GamerKeys does not work... I still have not figured out how to get my BF3 to run in English after 10 times of following their instructions. I use a Russian key and this is not a problem; look for he latest update pack, each time dice release a patch the game must be re-patched with the russian updates, not the american.. |

the code works fine in the US. you dont even need a vpn to activate. |

yes, but you'll need a patch so it has English. |

If you are buying the game for someone else, yes. I purchased from gamerkeys and although VPN is not necessary it is a bit of a hassle to get running. You'll have to download the English language pack, US library and make a few registry changes to get it working. You'll have to repeat with each update as well. I'm a cheap bastard and it was worth it for me, but it would be quite a shitty burden to tie on to a gift for a friend. EA had US BF3 keys on sale for $25 a few weeks ago, I'm sure they'll do it again at some point. |

If it were for me, yeah I could probably deal with that. But it's for a 12 year old that doesn't have much background computer wise... yeah, I know, I'm contributing to the corruption of todays youth and breeding a serial killer, but we all have our hobbies.
