Das Vertcointeam kündigte kürzlich einen neuen Coin an, den man über die VTC Chain “merged minen” kann. Merged Mining bedeutet, dass die Blockchains zweier Coins verschmelzen und man automatisch beide Coins mined.

Die Entwickler können somit neue Features testen und implementieren, ohne die Hauptchain zu belasten. Zudem birgt es noch einige andere Vorteile :
