Please discuss the reasoning, that a company feel the need to be so oppressive against their own customers, that they feel the need to force hierarchy and dictatorship, inasmuch that they feel the need to delete reasonable discussion from their community forums, such as this:

from this:

to this:

CENSORSHIP:
"I love you" and "I am pleasantly surprised" does not weigh up honest opinion.
It's simply dictatorship, and censorship against what one of their 'loyal' customers has a valid opinion on.
If truly they valued their 'loyal' customers, as they stated in their most recent press release, then they would allow their 'loyal' customers the right to discuss why they are such a perfect manufacturer of mining h/w.

?? are you still a 'loyal' KnC customer ??

and

?? do you really know, and accept the truth ??

We have 6 Jupiter and no issues, But there seems to be many issues of late from KnC for whatever purpose. I hope they arn't losing control like BFL, Otherwise theres no companies to trust in this arena!

This all does sound reminiscent of BFL/hashfast though

Come off it raskul. It's their own corporate forum why would they allow what is effectively an advertisement
for a competitor?

Hell even in what is supposedly a public discussion forum like bitcointalk I had 6 of my posts removed because I was discussing competitive options in the "official" sponoolies thread and from the group buy thread.

Once the news about the KNC megafarm was released i jumped ship, glad I did.

the problem I have... user270 is a good friend of mine... I've tried (in vain) to persuade him to refund his neptune. He is actually, one of the 'loyal' customers that KnC describe in their recent press release, but this is how they actually treat their loyal customers... it was a valid question, and simply deleted.

user270 is keeping his neptune order and is evaluating the situation once specs are released.
What bets KnC change the T's and C's as soon as they release full specs that no refunds are allowed?

see my previous news article: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=551261.0

ADD: sorry biffa, are you on my ignore for any specific reason?

They can change what T&Cs they want, but the original contracts stand. They also can't use anything illegal, even more so in the EU.

I do hope so dogie, I have a few friends who are sitting tight, not just user270 (and the only reason he advised me of his intentions here is because he is slowly becoming disillusioned with KnC.)

They plan on opening another 2 mining farms, all for themselves, did you know?

i'm disgusted. you can probably tell. regardless of my own sycophantic evangelism of any competitor (which i hereby condede) - what KnC have done is, in my book worse than BFL, worse than HF (i'm still awaiting my refund) and worse than any chinese shipping crap lego rigs.

Raskul, I don't know if you're on some kind of medication or just in love with Spondoolies, but you seem to have lost all sense of reason. Do you really think KNC would allow you to advertise your new best friends on their forum? You trumpet on about how good your new (Dawson) hardware is, yet unless you got a huge discount, you paid $4,500 + shipping ($150?) + 20% VAT + ? Import duty on it - you did pay your VAT, didn't you? - which equates to around $3.90 ish per GH/sec; that seems like an awfully expensive paperweight, because it almost certainly won't earn you any money unless the exchange rate rockets. Even at a 25% discount you still paid $3 per GH/sec.

I also think you pals may be slightly disappointed in their shrunken die's power consumption but then maybe they know better than the semiconductor guys, they only design the processes and manufacture the wafers, after all.

You're confusing FACT with ATTACK. Strange that you choose to ignore rather than actually answer back, you do seem to enjoy having a go at others. Still did'nt answer about your VAT, HMRC might show a greater interest, can't be that many Dawsons in Scotland.....

Dunno mate, did I do something to upset you? We did have a falling out a while back but thought it was resolved  Huh

The thing is your mate wasn't asking a question or posing a theory or doing anything customer-like, the mods there probably didn't even know he was a customer, his post looked like an advertisment for spondoolie-tech nothing more.

Those sorts of questions are really more for PM or email with the supplier or over the phone or here rather than in their own commmercial forum.
