Need opinions for writing crypto commercial scripts

First off, this is for a final project I am working on. I'm simply looking for other opinions besides mine as to not sound too bias. Feel free to answer any or all of my questions.. I will not be claiming your responses as my own work, you will be sited as interviewees. I'm an avid cryptocurrency follower, but I still don't understand much about the inner workings of all these coins.

Questions:

---What is your favorite hashing algorithm and why? If not SHA-256, how does it differ from Bitcoin's and what are the benifits?
---What are your favorite Cryptos and WHY? (Please include specs of said coins)
---What are your favorite sites for using/spending cryptos?
---Have you donated to any crypto charities?
---What upcoming, or already existing cryptocurrency are you most excited for (future wise)?

Please feel free to rant on other topics as well. There aren't too many sources out there for finding up to date cryptocurrency information. Thanks guys, I hope to see *some* responses!
