Updated 3 March 2015:

The Bunnycoin pool is currently closed, due to a lack of connections to enable the pool to synch.  If Bunnycoin gets  new lease of life I may reopen in the future - it would be a shame to let this coin pass into history.  The thread has been left as it was for information in case the pool ever reopens.  Meanwhile you can still enjoy mining Litecoins, Darkcoins, Infinitecoins and Elephantcoins at TreasureQuarry.

---

It's quick and east to start burrowing (mining) at TreasureQuarry's Bunnycoin pool. There's no need to "sign up".  Just use the following settings for your miner:

Mining address (url) (including port number after the colon)
http://bunnycoin.treasurequarry.com:37444

Username:
A unique address from your BunnyCoin wallet on your computer, for example BTw4qZfvLHvpuYmXHJ9SDh9ZWZcawH3FxS (don't use this particular address otherwise your earnings will go to me). Please do not use an exchange address or online wallet address.

Password
Anything you like - this is unimportant with P2Pool

Therefore, using with pooler's cpu miner (source code available from https://github.com/pooler/cpuminer), as an example, use:

minerd -o http://bunnycoin.treasurequarry.com:37444 -u YOURBUNNYCOINADDRESSHERE -p x

Choosing your psuedo-share difficulty

To get a good representation of your hashrate on the pool's graphs, and also to possibly reduce your DOA rate, adding the following to the end of your BunnyCoin address (including the + sign) is likely to  help. Just find your nearest hashrate from the table below:

Hash Rate
(KHash/s)   Difficulty
1        +0.00000116
5        +0.00000582
10      +0.00001164
50      +0.00005821
100     +0.00011641
250     +0.00029103
500     +0.00058207
750     +0.00087310
1000    +0.00116414

For example if you 're mining at  220 KHash/s, use:

minerd -o http://Bunnycoin.treasurequarry.com:37444 -u YOURBUNNYCOINADDRESSHERE +0.00029103 -p x

This will make your miner report when it finds "pseudo-shares" of a certain difficulty (you'll still need to find real shares for payments to start).  Once you do find a true share, payments will start going straight to your wallet as soon as the p2pool finds blocks.   Due to the way p2pool's PPLNS (pay per last N shares) works, the payments may seem to start slow but will then build up to reach a peak and reasonably steady rate.

You can view statistics at http://bunnycoin.treasurequarry.com:37444/static/ , and graphs at http://bunnycoin.treasurequarry.com:37444/static/graphs.html . Your own graph will show on the graphs page under the heading of your Bunnycoin address.

TreasureQuarry's reliable server is located in Dallas in the USA.

Pool fee is just 1% which you can confirm at any time at  http://bunnycoin.treasurequarry.com:37444/fee

Happy burrowing. Smiley

You may need to tweak your command line arguments or batch file settings for your individual gpu.  The Litecoin hardware comparison chart at https://litecoin.info/Mining_Hardware_Comparison may give you an idea of suitable settings for your specific gpu.

Nope, nothing's wrong with .conf file. Only happens on your pool and none others.

Hmmm, strange...Are you using an appropriate pseudo-share difficulty for your hashrate?

The pool has been updated to the latest p2pool version 13.4-24-gf0eeb48-dirty which should fix a recent issue with share difficulty sticking at a low level which caused high DOA rate when a big miner tried mining yesterday.

Happy burrowing. Smiley

The pool has been rolled back to p2pool version 11.4-31-g19b3dd0-dirty to try to fix the low-share-difficulty sticking problem.  It's early days but it looks like share difficulty is now adapting correctly to the pool hashrate.  This should finally stop the high DOA rate that has been happening.
