as per the subject...

Theymos why do you allow Davout to continue to be a staff member ? He owes a shitload of money to users on this forum.
You can not say the forum has nothing to do with his failed business. Most of his customers are from this forum.
He deletes posts when people speak up... that is not the action of an innocent man...

why do you allow it ? Does bitcointalk have shares in his business ? is their something you are not telling us ?
Very odd you allow this to go on... there must be something we do not know about...
It really doesn't look good for the forum or yourself... but hey, you know best, right.

Any mods/staff don't bother to defend, its a joke when some of you turn around and say "which mods/staff scam".. so yeah don't bother.
really just want to hear the  reason from theymos... not sure which lawyer would advise hiring staff who are scammers is a good idea..
Davout isnt the first... A few others were allowed to scam, delete posts, everything this clown does.

Huh

I know that theymos has demoted scammers (or at least questionable, untrustworthy people who did something wrong) from staff ranks in the past, so you shouldn't be so quick to jump to the conclusion that he doesn't. Refer to xDeathwing, MNW, etc. He is probably looking at the evidence against or for davout, or he hasn't been made aware of the case ytet.

There's always going to be mods that turn over to the darkside, but I'm sure if a verifiable scam (or one that looks very much like one) is proven then they will eventually be demoted from mod-status.

This issue has come to my attention relatively recently so I don't really have all the facts. All I know is a mod has been accused of stealing a more then significant amount of BTC.  That to me means a serious and swift action should be taken if there is any legitimacy to the claims.

It shows that its better perhaps to trust well know people for example moolah or say bittrex owners. Been a mod on forum does not make one smart or stupid. People differ.

the 'hack' happened over a year ago.
i guess the window for swift action is over :/

now all we can hope for is 'ii dont give a stuff action'

i can tell you though... if certain forum mgmt folks lost money to this guy... they would of been demoted a year ago...

a) pointless
b) already 3 in there.
c) theymos just posted in the thread below this.. lol i guess he is to busy or something. Looks like confirmation he doesn't give a shit.. what a surprise Smiley

i hope some of you don't honestly believe he hasnt seen it... for the past yr ?
like he never saw some of the other mod/staff/bfl screwing people over ?

more than happy to accept bfls advertising money even after 100's perhaps 1000's of complaints...
more than happy to accept advertising money from heaps of scam places... thus why they added in the disclaimer.. cause they knew what they were doing was wrong, hurting people, but they wanted to keep doing it and only cared about protecting themselves. and yes yes i no the forum can't babysit people, nor should they.. but jesus... dont lead the scammers right to peoples front door... cause yeah thats what your doing by advertising products, wether you want to believe it or not.

Spoonfeed the issue to us, quote by quote. We don't have the luxury of time to read whole threads of accusations to find the actual facts. Specifically, please post the following quotes:

1) Original offer from the user(s) the was/were scammed, if applicable.
2) Davout's acceptance of the offer.
3) Evidence that the agreement was violated.
4) Davout's acceptance and/or rebuttals to that evidence.

I know that you know I'm logical and fair so think about this for a second...

If you're going to call someone a scammer, you should really have clear and easily understood proof.  Otherwise how do we know you're telling the truth?

Justin00 I can respect you for calling out authority when it is warranted but here is a moderator giving you a public forum to post your proof and you laugh it off and say your mind is already made???

That's not how change works.
