Not sure if this is a repost, but it's huge news!

EDIT - Bloomberg terminals will now display bitcoin pricing.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Might want to give some more information next time as well. Had no idea what this was about until I saw the other thread  Wink.

Sorry, just got super excited.  This is really, I mean, really big news for bitcoin.  While many here may eschew the fiat/traditional financial system, one thing for sure is, there is a ton of fire power there.  This opens the door for main stream bankers and brokers to being to offer bitcoin information to clientele. I understand that this is just one private company offering a data feed, but the fact is, it will legitimize btc for a lot of people in the market.

So they are listing only Coinbase and Kraken? Surprising... because all the three bigger exchanges are ignored (BTC-E, Bitstamp, and Bitinstant). I hope they'll add them later.  Sad

They are listing US exchanges... and I am pretty sure bitinstant isn't a listed exchange at this point.  Smiley

what its just being listed on the bloomberg terminal what does that mean exactly ?

the story says this,

"Investors will not be able to trade in bitcoins from the terminal, and the company noted it was not endorsing or guaranteeing the currency"

which investors have access to the terminal is it a software client you can download?

I think it costs $1,800 a month for the terminal, but it maybe higher for individuals.
