i remember reading somewhere you can contact them to get the cent back.

yeah done that a few times. gave them addresses months ago but still nothing.  i get the feeling they lost all the cent and are now hoping that everyone forgets about it  Undecided  But the wallet has been updated, and other exchanges added it, and even the transaction limit was removed so they can't use that as an excuse anymore for not giving back the coins they are withholding from their users.

you should send transaction over 1 billion after June 10, after that, your transaction will be accepted and the wallet will not crash.
has anyone had luck sending transactions over 1 bil?
i first tested a 500 cent send with the new wallet. it worked.
after that, i tried to send 6bil, the wallet crashed.
I reopened it, the cent is gone, but it doesn't show anything sent under history.

The receiver has not recieved that cent either

edit: nevermind, i did repairwallet and it's back, and i meant bil not tril

by now i've sent support ticket about the support ticket about the support tickets regarding my pennies? Cheesy

hopefully they are aware of this new wallet and are simply waiting for the hard fork, but i find it very suspect that they removed the coin from balances page.   Undecided

hi, 455ss, i appreciate you would like to come to help me. there are still a lot of development work to do to make Pennies more valuable. for example, i want to build a reward system API for game app or website, then Pennies community can persuade app publisher or web owner to use Pennies-Reward-System to promote their app or website.

about development document
All crypto-currency is derived from Bitcoin, so you can see Bitcoin's API development for help. I always get the answer from
https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki

about sourcecode
if you first touch the sourcecode, you can see the processMessage function in the main.cpp, you can see all message transfer between two peers.

about API development
which thing do you want to do? do you just want to help me to find bugs from Pennies, or want to use Pennies' API to build a new software?

dear rozu,I am also a software programmer. But I only have two years of work experience and  my native language is Chinese。Although I on pennise is full of hopes, but My English is poor.I want to learn some pennies's API development. Can you give me some Suggestions or help.
I am sorry Rozu.i don't underStand C++.my first laugevage is c#.but i will bulid a asp.net website to extend pennies.

Who can explain what is going on with money supply?
Why in March there were approximately 43 000 000 000 000 pennies, but now more then 49 000 000 000 000?!

Same here, opened a ticket already 3 months ago. They keep promising to fix it, but nothing happens. What can we do? The only thing I can think of is spam BigVern's twitter account  Cheesy

Rozu's new version should have found some coins back which had lost in the old folk chains.

Rozu,

You have any plans for shrinking the total number of CENT?

The current money supply of ~49 Trillion would look more pleasant to exchanges if it was ~4.9 Billion.

I'm not sure any good exchanges with volume will want to add it without that happening.

Keep up the good work!

the version 10.3.1/2 did nothing about stake mining, just accelerate startup and syncing, fix some issues that prevent fork. if you run 10.2.1 which is in the main chain now, you can see the money supply is equal to 10.3.1/2/3, because 10.3.1/2 is compatible with 10.2.1.

i do not notice the history of money supply, the version 10.2.1/10.3.x will generate 0.0009 interest after 9 days now.

10.3.3 further restrict that very old coin will get 0.003 interest at most.

I will do it if it needs to do that after June 10.
in my first opinion, i will create a new coin named as Nickel running in the same chain with Pennies, just divide 5.

Hi Rozu,I have a better idea, fixed unit name。I hope you add this to the next wallet version. Smiley

便士币(Pennies coins)单位拟订
Pennies coins Supply:about 500000 Pennies,Get 0.3% interest at most even if the coin is older than 30 days.

单位
1   便士币(Pennies,Penniescoins)
103   毫便士(Milli-Pennies,mPennies)
106   微便士(Micro-Pennies,μPennies)
108   美分(CENT)

For Example:
     90993801 CENT  =    0 Pennies   /  90 mPennies    /  993 μPennies     /  801 CENT
   190993801 CENT  =    1 Pennies   /  90 mPennies    /  993 μPennies     /  801 CENT
3090009020 CENT   =   30 Pennies   /  90mPennies    /    9   μPennies      /    20 CENT
13090879001 CENT =  130 Pennies   /  90mPennies    /  879 μPennies    /      1  CENT
89000020000 CENT =  890 Pennies   /   0mPennies    /   20   μPennies    /      0  CENT

i agree with your idea, 49 Trillion looks too big, we should use a new unit let pennies looks more valuable.

i will consider how to divide later, i'm creating a new coin named as Nickel just for estimating workload of division.

it will be released after June 10 when 10.3.3 proved stable.

all can test Nickel to check whether it can work well together with CENT, if it works well, we can discuss how to divide, it's easy to implement then.
