I bought 2 Black Arrow Prospero X-3 (2000Ghash/second) Miners about 3 months ago on pre-order.
I am beginning to think this was a mistake because I don't trust Black Arrow will deliver any hardware and has taken my money...
Too many red flags come up with this company... For 1, they always answer vaguely their messages, they said shipments go out on April 30 and now they are telling me to "give them some time".. No one really has anything concrete to say about them and I really think I lost $12,000. They don't have any call center, you can never actually speak to anyone, I spoke to my contact in China and she said this is only a "corporate address.. They don't have a manufacturer there" She actually went to look. So yeah... I am a little worried.
Does anyone have anything good to say about Black Arrow?
Thanks.
Danny.

I hope you will get your miner but before spending $12k you should be more careful about purchasing from the company that you don't really know, don't trust any company blindly before buying you always must get information about their reputation and other customer reviews. I hope you'll get you miner.

Yeah this was my mistake... I was shopping around for a while and I found them to be the cheaper solution for the amount of Hash and was totally an impulse purchase... I hope I get my hardware and I also hope someone on this board can shed some light on this company :/

For the total amount of claimed hash - you took a gamble, hopefully with money you could stand to lose, and even more hopefully you'll come out on top I haven't heard anything about their miners in a while - even their chip sampling thread is pretty quiet (but for all I know there's NDAs involved).

I contacted them to provide me with the tracking number and Got this reply... "Dear Danny, We understand your situation and concerns, and that you are already excited with the delivery and how the delay compensation will work. Kindly bear with us a little bit more, as on how all will work with the shipment, hashing services and compensation details. New Updates will be announced soon! Thank you for kind patience. Sincerely, Sylvia" This doesn't sound promising...

Cancel and get your money back! Black arrow is way overpriced and they will probably not deliver. They are only 28nm which is gonna be old school by the time if they ever come out.

have you ever read these two threads: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=335145.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=468027.0The round 17 group buy will be first to get the gear. If they ever get it. I have 5 shares left of 12. My guess is if round 17 does happen and gets hash you will get some hashpower. My next guess is if you get the hash power by June 1st btc has to go up to 700usd for you to make a cash profit. I wish you and myself some luck.

Yeah, I ordered miners from them last year back in the FPGA days and they delivered a well made product. They can still run today, although there is no point mining 400Mh at 35w. I do think think they will deliver. I do have concerns over the Gh/$ price matching, but I don't think you are out $12,000 for nothing. If it makes you feel any better, there are people like me who ordered back in October before the difficulty went through the roof.

I hope I get my hardware and I also hope someone on this board can shed some light on this company :/ Hmmm I have 12k in my account I gotta spend it on something, can't just let it sit there and earn interest but what to spend it on?... new car/motorcycle/atv? nah ... Bad arse entertainment system or computer? nah ... stocks? nah Man must be nice to be that rich that you can impulse buy something with that big a price tag! I don't suppose you want to adopt a son? I'll admit I impulse buy $20 usb sticks and stupidly "invest" in $200 mining equipment, but once the price is more than rent or paycheck that's when the Old "Do I really?" needs to kick in. Granted I know all the new "cutting edge" stuff is all $2000+ and you need to buy it to keep up with this mining game .... but come on really? Thats a sore point with me right now, I think manufacturers not realizing that there's a segment they're not catering to, the budget miner that actually cares about ROI. (unlike usb sticks) Sure I can buy a Antminers or ect [Edit: not endorsing just top of my head they are closest], every couple of months to keep increasing my hash-rate every couple of months once I have spare cash to burn. Sorry no way I'm dumping whole paychecks on hardware that won't even pay for itself. AND they all seem to think we have data centers with 24/7 Air con with racking and 20A circuits that we can plug multiple 1000W PSU's in. I get it, it's EASY to build big and power hungry and just use giant fans to cool them off but come on don't you have any talented engineers that can take an older design and scale down the power or *gasp* under clock for "retail home users". [EDIT:Ugh typed that all out and now I think this needs it's own topic]

If you're Batch 1, you get compensation. You ordered 2 X-3's or 4 TH/s, so you'll receive an extra 2 TH /s, for a total of 6 TH/s with your order. Batch 2s and beyond get fucked in the asshole. Consider yourself lucky. You'll probably get your middle end of May, June at the latest. Check here for updates: http://ecointalk.net/forum/68-general-discussions/

Did you not read my over 300 deleted posts prior to ordering, or were they deleted by the time you read the main self-moderated thread on this forum? Fortunately, some were quoted, thus preserved. In brief, Black Arrow is run by a known Romanian scam artist, of which I offered up tons of proof. BTW, if in the future you get your hands on bitcoins and want to trade on a safe exchange, I suggest using Mount Coxs - formally Mt Gox - operated by a pedophile. Your second option is Bitcoin-Central, own my Paymium, if you're in Europe, for they're kind enough to steal my 1,132 BTC under the guise of the InstaWallet "hack" and won't return them, but davout, staff on this forum and owner of Bitcoin-Central, is keeping them warm in one of his personal bitcoin wallets. For your next bitcoin miner purchase, may I suggest KnC: for every miner ordered and delivered late, they built two for themselves to mine with in a helicopter hangar in northern Sweden (The Node Pole). This is done so to protect their customer's best interest, i.e. keep the difficulty in check. But, there's no need to worry about any conflicts of interests because the same investor backing KnC will also be running Mount Coxs, coupled with trying to get one of the open seats on The Bitcoin Foundation. The above would be so fuckin' funny if in fact it weren't true.
