People often keep something that it's very precious to them, maybe something that someone gifted them, or something you've had since you were a kid.

My most precious item would be my Pikachu toy, i've had it since i was 2 year old.
I have this old pocket watch my great aunt gave me before she died. there's noting that special about it. It has a crack on the face and you have to wind it, and when it's wound it ticks really loudly. I like it more because it's old and reminds me of another time when everything wasn't digital and instant.

The most precious item beside myself? Like non organic item? Hard to say, it is probably my PC, because  I am so addicted to internet and stuff.

I guess it could be something with emotional value. Don't have something to outshine the others though. :p

probably my grandfathers war medals from WWII.  He never talked about the war much when I was growing up but I found a bunch of 8mm film he took during the war after he died.  His medals were the only thing I was allowed to have after he died with a bunch of old home movies he took. The film he took of the war was in the bottom.

I always respected my Grandfather a great deal growing up, I spent a lot of time over there.  Almost every weekend and weeks on end during the summer.

Without the effort of people like my grandfather, the world would be a very different place. I gained an even greater respect for him after he died. I keep the medals close to me to remind me of the sacrifices he made. Looking back, I know he suffered a great deal because of things that happened during the war. I wish I would have been older at the time to understand it.

This is my most precious item (have 3 in total)

The USB drive in which I store the backup keys to my Bitcoin wallet. All three of them are stored in different places (one of them inside the bank locker) and the files are password protected.

I dont really know, as an Item, it's probably my PC, just for the sake of the effort I had to do in order to be able to buy it.
As for a precious person i'd say the relationship I have with my family is just over the top.
