19 years ago on this day, 1st May 1995. Operation Flash began

Croatian Army liberated over 500 sq. km in only 30 hours!

This triggered the vendetta strategy from Belgrade, YNA started attacks on civilian points (Zagreb --> rockets, Karlovac and Sisak grenades)

3 months after this initial action, Operation Storm began and over 10 000 sq km have been liberated

Happy anniversary of the turning point in the Croatian war of Independence Smiley

Seems that is all to common in this world.  Someone else has to go without so another group can have more.  I just don't see the logic in it.

today is the memorial of the 12 police officeres that were tortured in Borovo Selo

The inscription on the wall is a quote from a Croatian nobleman  who was executed by the Hungarians in the 17th century

it means "Forever lives the one who dies with honor"
