Speaking at the Milken Institute Global Conference, Bitcoin's Gavin Andresen says it could be 20-30 years before he uses Bitcoin every day, but says price volatility will subside as more people use it:

Gavin, as always, downplaying Bitcoin.  that's a good thing i guess for those who are upset about the name Darkwallet.

to paraphrase the poor interviewer, "b/c you're getting paid in Bitcoin, you're making more than me regardless".

yep.  if you hold your Bitcoins long enough, you will come out ahead.
