I feel that if people are given reasonable terms, you're less likely to have people default.
These terms are far from reasonable.

That's what I was thinking... with those crazy rates, I feel he's only gonna get people who have no interest in paying back.

Needing to get a gift for someone using BTC and they didn't want to wait for certain circumstances?
There are some reasons, but with these terms, I would say primarily scammers.

I don't think the OP's rates are excessive after all he is not accepting collateral and is no different to a payday lender who will inevitably get bitten a few times so needs to offset that with higher rates.

What bemuses me is why anyone would want/need to borrow 0.005 BTC that only around £1.33/$2.24 what are people going to do with that tiny amount of funds ?

Anyway good luck to OP

Hi yah.. Just saw you're post. And I am quite interested to get some loan. I was thinking about 0.003 and if I can pay it in a week Grin
But you're terms is 2 - 4 days, and the interest is so high Sad so, if I were to loan a 0.003 in 2 days that would be 0.006?

Normally yes. I have adjusted the loan tables (unrelated to you), please see the updated OP. However in your case, your plan to 'invest' it into a "mining pool" is most certainly a scam, and I will not be lending to you right now. Sorry, but feel free to apply again in the future, especially when you learn the difference between 'you're' and 'your'.

You may be a tiny bit short in a transaction.

However I have reworked the table to remove the first tier, new first tier is 0.01 BTC.

That's what I thought, but for the little amount of money they could scam it's probably not worth ruining the account for. I'm sure lots of people will default on these loans though.

Well they are excessive but I guess those are the terms if you want a collateral free loan, but the high interest just makes it less likely people will pay the money back, but I agree about the second part. I'm interested to see how successful this offer is though. Good luck, op.

may be its a good service if you set the term 1 or 2 months instead of only 2 days with too high interest

You're currently a few activity points away from meeting the minimum requirement, but maybe you'll get them with the next few posts, but you also currently can't lend that much either.
