Buying Beer With Bitcoin is Legal in California!

Great news!
I can now use Bitcoin to drink beers at the bar here at my hometown California.
It's been hot and getting close to summer and it's great that people who hold Bitcoin wallet can pay in Bitcoin rather than carrying cash or credit card soon. 

"The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) has given the green-light for bars and other alcohol-serving establishments to accept bitcoin as a form of payment."

must be more expensive if there is no other choice to pay with.

this is good for californians.

but thinking of the bigger picture, this is also good for people in different states, as it shows that different states CAN have their laws changed or policies approved independently from national governments.

the example is that illinois banned alcohol purchases and california approves it. stuff like this will will in the future cause economic impacts on each state depending on their policies.

EG crypto businesses will not want to set up business in illinois if their viewed as non bitcoin friendly, and more businesses will set up in new york and california instead.

So California beats Ohio to it. Buying beer for Bitcoin was just banned a few hours ago in Ohio.
