Apart from Spain I would love to see a European team winning the world cup in south America - Never been done before.

I don't think that any European team other than Spain is having a good chance to win the World Cup this time. Germany is weak in South America, while Italy is out of form. Portugal depends too much on one player, while France and England are on the decline.

I have to agree. Portugal really only depends on 1 player, France is out this time from what i heard Ribery wont play due injury, England i cant even remember when did they last time been in semis. Maybe as of spade will be dutch or some African country.

On paper the French have decent squad, but ever since their World Cup and Euro double they have massively underachieved. A lot of it has to do with attitude and egos.

I read that Deschamps left Nasri out of the squad because of his attitude when he doesn't get his way. Considering that Nasri had a decent season with Man City it comes as a bold move!

Maybe like The Netherlands, we have a crazy good coach Louis van Gaal.
And we also have some good players, like Sneijder, robben and van Persie.
Those 3 players are probably playing there last WK and there last change on the cup.
So maybe we could suprise, lets see what we bring against Spain.

Some of the teams such as Uruguay, Netherlands, Italy, Portugal.etc are having outside chances. But I really believe that this time it is going to be either Brazil or Argentina.

Good luck Greece. You've got a solid backbone in place and theres no doubting Mitroglous goal scoring talent. A very good chance of getting through the group stage this time round.

There is more than 50% chance for a Brazil vs Argentina final. It'll be an epic clash.  Grin Among the European sides, right now only Spain looks capable enough of reaching the final.

I think that it should be considered a shock if Brazil or Argentina don't win the World Cup this year given the supremacy of South American clubs in tournaments held in the Americas.
