Can we collectively do a twitter campaign ?

I have seen different brand/products do twitter campaign to get their name on top 10. Can we, the bitcoiners, do a twitter campaign that would bring bitcoin on top 10 ?

...and we have a proposal here...

I have a proposal that the community may consider. I am running http://re.2et.in, a credit based tweet exchange. I may set up a bitcoin tweet in it and add some credit to it. By retweeting this tweet everyone will earn credit that they may use for their own tweets to get retweeted. On the other hand #bitcoin may earn a lot of promotion.

Isn't the top 10 fleeting? How long does any one item remain in the top ten anyway?

As long as people are talking about it. Getting 10 minutes visibility on worldwide twitter trend is also big. Probably bigger than being covered by any single media outlet. Here is a site that lists the historical trends and their reason => http://www.whatthetrend.com/

Visibility and awareness is no longer an issue for Bitcoin. The issue is converting from awareness to adoption.

It popped into my mind that a mass produced hardware wallet is something that will certainly set twitter alight someday in the future... dreaming again

I'm down for doing a Twitterspree w/ BTC related stuff, couldn't hurt. Plus, I've got a bunch of Tea Party conservative/libertarian types that run in my circles so inundating the likes of them w/ this material would potentially jive w/ their certain anti-big govt mindsets.
