Why does a rich movie star want to gamble anyways? if he just likes playing cards why not host a party at his own house. We all know he doesn't need the money.

I think if you can count cards you shouldn't be banned..you're technically not cheating. Cheating would be bribing the dealer to sneak peeks at the cards.

If you count the cards, you only know how many of each card there is. Anybody could look it up on the Internet and see - but I guess it's just a 'no-no'.
But then again, I don't play any card games, so I wouldn't know.

Affleck, 41, was stopped earlier this week by security guards at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas while playing blackjack because "you are too good," the source said. He was told he could play other games at the casino.

Not sure that's exactly 'counting cards'. I'm also not sure I believe this story either. Ben Affleck doesn't exactly catch me as a genius card player or something.

rounders was a good Flick. I think he probably likes the rush of potentially getting caught after all casinos employs the crooks that used to do the same thing. To catch a crook you need a crook

Exactly what I was thinking.  It's not like they only use 1 deck of cards, not sure the number, but I know they use multiple decks. I would assume at least 3-5 decks.  I used to date a girl that could count cards so to speak with 1 deck.  I don't really see how that is cheating, it's just really good memory and quick thinking.

Looks like Ben is extremely gifted if you ask me.
