Best Budget Machine 1BTC/$500

What is, in your opinion, the best miner for me to buy with a $500 budget?

I've already got a small LTC rig and some smaller BTC miners, and I've finally accumulated about 1BTC or $500 worth.

Is there a miner I will achieve ROI with for this price? Anything worth buying at this stage in the 'arms race'?

if you have the $500 in fiat then buy straight btc.
if you have it in btc then hold on to them or trade altcoins (very risky).

Only Bitmain S1 really 0.54BTC for 180GH. It's 2W/GH though but you can mod it to use less power if you sacrifice some GH.

 buy an s-1 for .54 btc    and hold the .46btc


mine with the s-1  for a while read the down clocking thread on it. and consider a downclock when diff goes to 22-25  diff is now 8.


holding the .46 btc gives it a chance to jump and mining with the  1 s-1 gives you an okay miner .


If you are in the usa and need a psu for the miner and a spare fan send me a pm.  I have more then 1 extra psu that will work with a s-1 miner.

And I have very powerful but loud replacement fans.

Lol, you need to check the exchanges more often. BTC is $70 shy of $500 right now. But to answer your question, AntMiner S1 is your only option right now.
