Great idea; We need BTC to be associated with this:

Anything that helps people understand the BTC can be easy should be encouraged.

But we really need is McDonald's to be affiliated with bitcoin, you know how many people buy fast food. If we get all the fast food chains to buy  with bitcoin than it would get a lot of attention

McDonalds! Let's get Monsanto while we're at it, and go for that big pharma dollar too!

Seriously though.

Remember Aaron Swartz, a 26 year old computer scientist who died defending the free flow of information.

There is nothing good to be said about Monsanto.
McDonalds recently introduced a huge plan to transition to using only sustainable providers for most everything they purchase.
Now when kids get brainwashed to love McD's at least they will not hurt the environment as much.  Smiley

This would provide Bitcoin with a lot of attention, but it may not be what we need. I think Bitcoin has to steadily increase, otherwise we'll see an epic climb and then a massive crash, causing a crypto-depression. People may dump their remaining assets into other coins, and then Bitcoin WILL die. Other cryptos will surpass it in terms of activity.

In all honesty, we need a steady climb. That's the only way we can stay alive.

I was about to say it's kind of pointless just trying to get all these random companies just to accept bitcoin and let it happen naturally, but I'm glad to see they're actually looking in to accepting digital payments. It makes me wonder what other companies are currently exploring their options.

True. Fast food becomes even faster by processing payments with bitcoins.

Companies invariably need stationery. Staples would be a good target because it would give Bitcoin-accepting merchants a chance to use their BTC without simply converting them to fiat.
