I don't mine scrypt coins right now, because scrypt ASIC are out there.
SHA-256??  just like back to 80's... you are moving backward, bro..
I think this coin will dead on arrive..

I actually think networks supported by strong dedicated mining equipment have many superior qualities than coins that are only being made and chased to support cpu and gpu miners. scrypt was originally designed to give cpu miners an option, when gpu mining hit bitcoin. Then gpu mining hit scrypt and now asics. I have always favored sha coins, and this one seems interesting potentially. Time will tell of course.

thanks for the info, I have been monitoring the thread and pools to see if there was news on the rescheduling, or what was up. I want to be there AT launch, cuz it is fun, damnit.

no it definately said that and the frontpage on bitcointa.lk (or whatever) still states "no premine"


"ComCoin" was listed as no premine. With the name change comes the premine. Maybe due to some comments that no premine coins have a hard time. Sadly this is true. Zero premine coins get slaughtered on the exchanges.

no it definately said that and the frontpage on bitcointa.lk (or whatever) still states "no premine"

Statement regarding postponed launch

Dear Community,

we want to apologize for the postponed launch and any inconvience due to this.
We are really working hard on this project and had infrastructure issues in the last hour before
launch. We were not able to connect to 2 of 3 VPS and therefor decided to postpone the
launch.


We also want to say that we believe in XtraCoin and that we now are going to
even put more work into this project. Join #xtracoin @IRC freenode if you
