try this pool

stratum+tcp://nomp.cryptopools.com:3352

I was having same hashrate issues (not showing anywhere near what im hashing)
on cx.cryptopools , this one is giving me the proper rate but needs alot more miners.

spread the hashrate Smiley

also its no register so thats nice.

So user name = wallet address? Is it mining directly to your wallet?

Thank you very much. And what is the site's address where the hashrate is shown?

I have done some calculations out of interest. Please correct me if I made a mistake somewhere in my reasoning:

@ 2min per block

Phase      Blocks   Reward                  Coins     Minutes     Hours     Days
1             1,000            1                  1,000              0            0          0 (negligible as completed in first few minutes)
2             9,000        500           4,500,000     18,000        300   12,50
3           10,000        250           2,500,000     20,000        333   13,38
4           20,000        100           2,000,000     20,000        667   27,78
5           20,000          50           1,000,000     40,000        667   27,78
6           40,000          10              400,000     80,000     1,333   55,56

Total POW                 10,401,000   198,000     3,300 137,50   = 4,58 months (pretty long time to have ASICs off BTC if it will really take this long)

From 10,401,000 to 50,000,000 are POS coins.

POW will therefore take 4.58 months since POS and POW are not simultaneous POS will start in 4.58 months, or at which point does POS start?

Maybe you guys can help me.  I have a KNC Jupiter and when I use the KNCminer webpage to set up my miner I have no problem mining bitcoins by putting in ththe URL field stratum.btcguild.com:3333 or Mazacoins at stratum1.suchpool.pw:3342  On these the Jupiter works fine. For other pools I can't get it to work (Arkenstone, BitcoinNew, etc) I've tried putting stratum+tcp// in front of the URL like the pools suggest but the KNCminer software pukes on it. The same for XtraCoin.  Any ideas?   When I check status on the KNCminer webpage it says "Halted (Check miner settings)"   By the way my two Jally's use bfgminer and they're mining on the pool no issues.

Regards,

Chuck

hi fraenk,
just type "walletpassphrase <yourpw> <time>" into the wallet-console and replace "yourpw" with you password and "time" with the time you want your wallet to be unlocked (in seconds). But you could also simply just click "Unlock" in the Walletsettings.

hi goldman,
so does this mean as soon as my wallet no longer says it is locked, it will take part in POS automatically? Why does the wallet show "Stake: 0.00CX", do my coins need to age first and are then automatically added to the stake??
Sorry, but this is my first POS coin I am checking out and I'm new to this. Thanks for your help!

just type "walletpassphrase <yourpw> <time>" into the wallet-console and replace "yourpw" with you password and "time" with the time you want your wallet to be unlocked (in seconds).

Thanks for your help!

hi fraenk,

exactly, your coins will automatically competite for stake once they aged.
