Wild Kopi Luwak
Kopi Luwak has a very unusual origin, unlike any other coffee bean, The Luwak or a member of the cat famil, also known as the Asian Palm Civet, originates in the island of Java, Sumatra, and Sulawesi, They are night time diners and spend their evening gorging cherry in coffee plantation, eating the ripest cherry with just the right amount of water content and acidity, reddest, sweetest, and the most perfect cherry with their well-developed senses of smell, And only one or two cherries from each plant are good enough. The rest are ignored. These cats are surely the world’s pickiest pickers. The bean is digested in the stomach, which allows the proteolytic enzymes in its stomach to percolate into the beans. A result of this process is that the Kopi Luwak coffee bean loses their bitterness and provides the base of a very aromatic coffee.
Kopi Luwak is the most expensive coffee in the world, not only because of its extremely expensive price tag but because of its unique, uncommon production of coffee, rarity and the luwak bring the coffee to perfection.
Sumatran King Gayo is a pure Kopi Luwak from coffee plantation in Gayo Highlands, they are never directly interfered by human, and 100% pure from wild luwaks in nature.
