LTC doesn't have LTC/fiat stable value.

Value of LTC depends on BTC price

I am still holding LTC...it's been painful the past few months, as it seems to be tracking BTC pricing. The BTC/LTC ratio is quite stable...but since BTC has lost value, LTC has unfortunately followed suit in terms of $ terms.

Litecoin is not special, it is just one of the many altcoins that we can choose from. Why in the world is Litecoin worth $10  Huh Huh

LTC is better than other script alt coins the same way that BTC is better that other SHA256 coins - first, biggest market cap, widely accepted by merchants, exchanges, hard to break because of network hashrate....

LTC isn't just one of the many altcoins - many other altcoins are more or less (usually more) LTC clones.

It's funny to me how so many people try to make the "oh well it's still X amount higher than it was a year ago" type arguments. The same has been said of bitcoin (which has also dropped 50+% in a few months.)

It's one thing if a coin drops, then stabilizes, then begins to rise again. If it drops massively, then continues to slowly bleed value and slowly fall over weeks, months, etc... then that is a major problem.

1 LTC has been steadily trading at ~0.02 BTC for almost a year.

It seems like doge coin is from the same developers as feathercoin.. they both had the same spamming promotion in the beggining

Feathercoin doesn't even have a unique Genesis block; it uses the same one as LTC. Its basically Litecoin forked at block 1 for different name and numbers

Stop buying that bullshit

It was like $2 a year ago so I consider this a very good price still

+1 wow I agree with you on something.

every extreme price rise in any market will be followed by a retrace.

You would agree with me on a lot more stuff if you put your emotions aside

I remember stories in the news about how if you bought $5000 of litecoins when they came out you would have been a millionaire by last Christmas. Even if you held onto them you would still have somewhere between a quarter to a third of a million dollars. That's not so bad an investment.
