...

what we have to offer.
* the original nyan-cat creator has approved the community take-over [ link ]
* still some alive persons in the community
* a coin that is already listed on cryptsy

...

Being already listed on cryptsy simply means that it's already on its way down.*

*Of course, cryptsy does not kill all coins. However, cryptsy kills altcoins that offer nothing new - with impressive reliability and speed.

We need a new Dev-team that can offer something "new".
don't forget we have permission of the nyan-cat creator to get things going so we still are "the first licenced cryptocoin"

a lot of new altcoin have trouble to get on big exchanges with high volume (vote list or "bribes") but this coin already is.
it is an advantage...

Here is my view...

Changing the Algo with a 'Live' coin is a very difficult task for any developer, and requires some serious in depth knowledge of the coins coding. I would suggest reviving the coin with a new code rebase, maybe add some new features like DIGISHIELD or a different reward system, and follow what FlappyCoin are doing..
1) get a solid trustworthy wallet for all platforms working...
2) be a very active community.
3) Giveaways, competitions etc...

yes PoS and other exotic Algo's are popular but so is this coin...its already got the advantage of being on big exchanges!

When i got into Crypto development at the end of 2013 and beyond. i recognised three potentials...

DogeCoin
FlappyCoin
NyanCoin

Only DogeCoin really made its mark!

How about full POS for NYAN?
I am ready to try implement it.
Hard fork block height and POS roi to be discussed.

should we set a vote for 24hr? (or longer?)

edit: already added a vote for 48hr.

@maxvall what is the status on your work. do you have any suggestions for block height (mine is block height 20000 wich would be 16 days from now) and what is your suggestion for pos settings

after that than we have a week time for block 200000

edit... I'll do some calculations so the total coins would be a more rounder number...

Are you ready to communicate with Cryptsy?
If they not accept our change (any), we simply waste our time.

I believe
67400*49 + (197965-49)*337 = 70000292

377M/70M ~= 5,4

strange... where are those 25 coins...
I calculated it directly from blockexplorer...

now it is block 177160 and a outstanding of 62988982.06890615
67400*49 + (177160-49)*337 = 62989007

difference: 62989007-62988982.06890615 = 24,93109385

Yeah, it is a funny bug )))
Outstanding value should be a integer forever.

Mining reward should be 337 exactly + transaction fees
as here http://nyancha.in/block/4f17e88b03b470f9c6ad0aca35e2dfb9ba6f582e10fe772ba521018b974ed44b
Reward = 337 + 1.685 = 338.685
So, 337 nyan created - this is correct.

But look at this block for example:
http://nyancha.in/block/c1f081209aa904aeb14c2a474176f2cb998b77d2ee59ee2bd2b1826b8499b02d

Reward should be 337+1.7 but pool which found block take less reward than should - only 337.
So only 335.3 nyan created instead 337.
I think - it is a fee calculation bug in some pools.

So you right - we get 70000267.****** or little less )))

What you mean? Explain please this classification.
