In an internet-wide effort to raise awareness to the negative effects of SOPA, the following businesses and websites from the bitcoin community will be blacking out on January 18th, 2012.

Post your business/website below and it will be added.

Thank you.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I will join the Internet Blackout tomorrow Jan 18, to protest Internet Censorship along with Wikipedia and many others, only if 2 other people in this forum thread (or 2 people in either of the 2 other forums) also agree to this by repeating this text here and in at least 2 other forums where they normally post (give a link here to prove it), on topic (no spamming), so either we are all in it together or none of us are, as we will all come back to our forums before Jan 18 to see how many others agreed.

As virally agreed, the 2 other forum threads I posted this in:

All my writing, here or anywhere else, permission granted to copy.
