That seems highly counter-productive.... you are going to die and all that wisdom and knowledge will vanish. That begs the question of when you die does every part of your die? I cant believe 30 days of hedonism could be the right choice? |

I'd probably get as many non-security loans (you know, the ones with extremely high interest) as possible, like, right now. Then I'd buy a one-way ticket to Bangkok, and travel around South East Asia, getting drunk, see amazing sights and so on. If I do that, then I can die a happy man. (and what's left of the money I borrowed I'll send to my family so they can do something awesome as well)

We should always live as if we had only 30 days to live.
In principle, however it doesn't actually work like this. If you only had 30 days to live, you'd sped those 30 days a lot differently than your every other day. |

this kind of strikes close to home. My Mother passed away from Cancer in 2009, she was diagnosed and had approx 6-12 weeks to live. I believe she lived for 8 weeks after her diagnosis. She did some chemo and traveled with my father, her last week was spent at home, you couldn't tell that she only had a week to live, she was in a little pain, but very talkative and was upbeat. Our extended family gathered and literally spent the entire week with her, exchanging stories, crying, talking about whats it going to be like to die, will she be able to see her grandchildren grow up, etc.. I got to know more about my mother in that last week than i knew the previous 45 years. We were very grateful to have that last week.
So, if I knew I had 30 days to live, i would go on a great vacation with my family and spend time with them.
Oh, and tell them where my bitcoins are and how to retrieve them, lol..
