Dear FAILers,

We FINALLY have some GREAT news for our beloved community!!! We found developers! Our lead dev will remain anonymous for the moment, but we can tell you - he is a GREAT guy and extremely skilled coder. The second one is the one and only ocminer - a very prominent btctalk member and owner of suprnova pools. I personally talked with him on Skype and he said that he will help us with whatever he can (and of course when he have time for it). We will now reveal some of our short-term plans:

- FAILCoin will be forked and supply will be reduced. 1B coins will be swapped for 1M. With that step we can have BTC pair. We already talked with EmpoEx and they don't mind to host the swap for 2 weeks or 1 month (we are still thinking about the exact time). We are waiting them to confirm it though! Confirmed!
- New wallets will have features like integrated exchanges, IRC, Twitter and block explorer (thats in process too).
- Launching multipool (starting hashrate will be at least 1GH+ scrypt).

P.S. We are NOT trying to create hype! We just wanted to bring you the good news before NY. There is a lot of work ahead of us, but we will finish it as promised!

I have just discussed some things with our developer and I wanted to know what is your opinion about:

1. FAIL will be reduced as we said. EmpoEx already confirmed that they can host the swap. I am thinking of the rate to be 1,000,000,000 (1 Billion) FAIL1 > 250,000 (250 thousand) FAIL2. If all mined FAILs (currently about 78B) are swapped, the coin will be with 19.5M supply.
2. Swapping to continue for 30 days. I think it is enough for FAIL holders to swap their coins.
3. After swapping is over, initial block reward to be 32 coins, block time 60 seconds and halving every 100k blocks. DGW3 will be used as diff. retargeting.

Please share your thoughts even if you are not FAILCoin holder. Any ideas and help for future development will be well appreciated. Our goal is to start discussion and decide what will be the best for FAIL future.

I think so too. There will be a lot more features, but first we need to sort things out. After the fork we will launch multipool (it is already confirmed, but I can't give ETA as I'm not sure).

Thanks for the votes! It seems that we have good chance to be paired with Viacoin on EmpoEx pretty soon. Their decision to prefer VIA instead of DOGE was pretty smart. Imho this will be one of the best coins in 2015 so I think that will be big step for FAILCoin. We are aiming to be long term coin after all.

I tweeted to Swisscex to ask them if there are any FAIL coins left in their wallet, but they didn't answer me. If any of you have some coins stuck in there PLEASE write me PM or contact us on @FAILCommunity Twitter immediately! We suspect (not to say we are sure) that a lot of coins were left there because:
1. We had a lot of placed orders in there.
2. They didn't warn us about delisting and they didn't announced time for withdrawals. (shame on them as it is extremely unprofessional)
3. A lot of you are not following/like us on Twitter and Facebook (it's your choice).
4. Many of you are not reading our thread in here.
5. We are NOT dead and there is ongoing development. You will eventually miss those coins!
6. There are literally thousands of funded FAIL addresses (details here) and there is high possibility most of the holders to still have coins on Swisscex.
