It's gotta blow up sometime.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.

Major crime-syndicate adoption  Tongue

A celebrity endorsement would be nice...  Kanye rapped about euros as a "safe-haven" currency.  If he rapped about bitcoin it would spike interest.  Nerds are "in" right now they're "super cool."

It will be REALLY lite-weight bitcoin client app for mobile devices,
that will not need to download entire blockchain.

Lighter than Bitcoin Spinner?

Bitcoin Spinner is good, but I like the Electrum model more. And we need a lightweight client for iPhones, because iPhone suers are usually the early adopters.

And currency conversion built-in would be nice feature for those apps, so that people can easily send money back and forth.

NFC + iPhone5 + iPhone wallet app. To me, this is the combo that will result in retailers saying 'yeah we can feasibly do bitcoin now' and then it snowballs from there.

When the hipsters can do it, everyone will realise it's a real thing.

I kind of gave up on brick and mortar business. Maybe some internet business. Most likely ever growing mass of speculators supporting a long time bull market hitting critical distribution at some point so amazon and co. accept it and it becomes a currency.
we don't have a hen egg problem as bitcoin already works good for speculation. with growing volume, the rest can and will follow.

Tee-Shirt idea:

                                                      What's Your Address?

(that's a real address I C&P from another thread)

Note, I didn't ask "what's you Bitcoin address" thereby leaving enough to the imagination, but a Bitcoin logo on the back of the shirt would work. Or do it reversed: logo front; message back.
