Hey Guys, I have a collateral of 0.1 BTC on my wallet and I am looking for a loan of 0.2384983.
The reason is because I am trying to pay for my tuition fees.
I could send some proof of my 0.1 btc as well as some btc on poloniex as well.
My collateral is less than my loan because of obvious reasons - aka I will not need to borrow if I had more than the loan itself.
I will pay 1.3 times more at the end of the month, when I get my pay from Starbucks I'll trade it in for BTC.
Since I'm desperate, I would really appreciate any help I can get from the Bitcoin community.
Please PM me first if you wish to provide a loan for me.

Thanks and cheers!

You're essentially asking for a 0.1384983 btc loan without collateral, which you unfortunately will not be able to get because you have no reputation. If you can provide collateral that is worth more than 0.2384983 btc, I can give you this loan.

Erm, I'm really sorry, but I can't really see why I need to borrow if I have more than 0.2384983 btc.

You need 0.23 or you need 0.13? Either way you will use the money in your wallet so it is not a collateral

Can I suggest trying to borrow from a trusted friend or family member and next time don't drink&smoke as much, I can't help you but good luck

Yeap, no call from them. Just to clarify, I do not partake in alcohol and tobacco.

Collateral means you have to send something to the one loaning you worth as much or more than he's loaning you.

This might answer why should you do that:

A common question is why don't I just sell my collateral? Well the reasoning behind collateral is that you think it's going to appreciate in price or do not want to sell it, encouraging you to pay back the loan to have your collateral returned.

Hmm.. I think I have a clearer understanding of the collateral now.  Thanks! I think I will just sell my BTC.

Not a collateral.  How about you give me a 1 BTC loan for 0.5 BTC collateral?
You're in college and still don't know what a real collateral is?

You won't get anything from here.  It'll be easier to ask one of your co-workers or friends for a loan in fiat.

Also, you need less than $100 USD to pay for tuition fees?

Members will not send money to a stranger on internet, new on the forum and without collateral; you can probably understand that

I wish you good luck

Now that made me laugh!

But serious OP, you should provide a real collateral if you really need a loan.
