I can't load my wallet anymore. I get an error:
Error: failed to load wallet: failed to read file "wallet"
Dev, any idea how to fix this? I'm using Mac os X.

Of course, you can find blocks. I mined 3 days and found nothing, and then found 3 blocks sequentially.

Of course, wallet files also differ. What do you mean by 'applies'? QuazarCoin software (like all coins which are based on the CryptoNote) doesn't relate to Bitcoin software.
The Bitcoin-Qt's blockchain and wallet files are compatible between different operating systems (Linux and Windows). Whereas in CryptoNote they aren't. A little bit inconvenient... It's true. All data which are saved to PC (blockchain, for example) isn't portable between different OS. There is info about wallet files: new site is nice, but i have problem transfer wallet from windows to linux,
Error: failed to load wallet: failed to read file "wallet.bin"
in log file is:

Hmm... what is the main difference between CryptoNight and CryptoNote algorithms? Which one is better?

Thanks to the developer for creating this coin. I have already started mining it and everything works well!

it's not a clear answer. There I've read that CryptoNight is the proof-of-work algorithm used in CryptoNote. So one algorithm includes another one, doesn't it?

Cryptonote is not an algorithm, it is the name of the group that claims to have developed the technology (can't be verified but I have no reason to doubt it). CryptoNight is the name of hash algorithm used for proof-of-work in the cryptonote-derived coins (except Boolberry, which is going in another directly).

how can you tell when a block is found? will it state one has been found? I can clearly tell im mining but beyond that cant tell much. how do we see what difficulty is also?

Yes, that doesn't work either. I know for sure I typ my password correct. Are my coins lost? I don't have a backup wallet. The wallet is around 168kb in size large. Are my coins lost?

Hey guys, There was a lot of problems with the last GUI miner version so I decided to build a new one. Main point of it is this: I declined the concept of 4gb_memory_blockchain - all you have to do now is enter your BCN/MRO/QCN and FCN wallet address and connect to one of the nodes directly. It will solve the issue with the “eternal_BCN_sync”. Download: http://solominer.org/ Source: https://github.com/amphibia/SoloMinerQCN developers please can contact me through PM to talk about direct nodes for miners. That’s pretty much it for now - don't hesitate to reach out for me in case of any questions. Cheers.
