There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I have already replied on the thread. Otherwise they are asking for more volume, and seems that everyone here is trading in mintpal...
So if any of you is interested today in sell faircoin put your order on bittrex, and some of us will buy  Grin

They replied, that can reconsider delisting if see some movements in their pair. If we thing that could be good maintain this exchange would be good
to move some volume there...

I've asked asked CoinPayments.net what can be done - other than voting - to get on their platform quicker.
You can read the message I've sent at http://forum.fair-coin.org/index.php?topic=31.msg117#msg117

If you haven't voted already at CoinPayments.net, please do at https://www.coinpayments.net/vote
We need this platform to progress on our FairTrade initiatives - by voting you'll be helping The Water Project to give access to safe water in regions where that isn't a commonality.

Hi everyone,

Thank you for your messages.  I'm happy to see that we're playing a small part in your plans for FairCoin.  When we started Bittrex, our goal was to support as many coins as we can in the crypto-community and give them time to grow.   Unfortunately, every market adds a small cost to our exchange and it doesn't make sense to keep unused markets going.  As long as you can keep 0.1 BTC of daily volume on the FairCoin exchange, that covers our maintenance costs to keep the market open.

Because of the response both on the board and in the market, we're pushing back the removal of FairCoin from Bittrex.

Thank you again for your support,
Bill

I bought in 'cheap' today at 320 sat. Thinking that it couldn't go any lower then that. I guess I thought wrong Tongue
Just look at the volumes of of DRK and XLB on MintPal. It's sucking the life out of all other coins. USDe, MINT, DOGE and other strong coins are all bleeding out.

The positive news is that we're still on page 1 volume wise on MintPal and that we've got 0.5 BTC Volume on Bittrex Cheesy

just a question for understanding. If you hold your FAC in your Mintpal account, does the 6% annual interest goes to Mintpal and do they sell directly? In this case I can understand why it still seems like that somebody is still selling so low.

- The annual interest goes directly to MintPal - however coins need a cool down time before the minting process starts, MintPal makes use of a lot of wallet addresses so they'd have to implement a high level of coin control for coins to keep staking. I don't assume that they'll spend resources on that for PoS coins (yet). Coins like ZeitCoin and MintCoin are way more interesting for that.
- Interest is only 6% yearly.  Right now there's 50,018,932 FAC. So we're talking about 19.000 FAC minted so far. That's not enough to ruin the market.

To my opinion it's just that we (including the dev team) aren't making enough noise yet. So how do we do that?

And further more; if we make enough noise, what'll happen to the coin? Do we really want to get pumped & dumped?

I will dedicate my time to it tonight - I'll try to team up with Thokon00.
I'm a skilled Java Dev, so that kinda clashes with how this wallet is set up.
The whole Qt buildprocess and library management is just nasty imho. Your OS needs to be part of the build environment. That's so 1900'ish.
