Funny thing is.....  The BOST in volume will probably make it get picked up by mintpal anyways

Reading this, what would the general view be on switching back on the PoW at some stage in the future as a short term bonus mining period. There is no technical reason why PoW could not be re-enabled at some stage in the future as a boost to the current supply. This could be for a short period like maybe 1000 - 5000 Blocks... (But would require a mandatory wallet update before each time this happened) As far as i know no other coin has done this...

Do you think this would be a positive new idea or could it be a bad thing?. let me know what you think?

I don't understand. Why would this be done?

Under this coin's parameters, PoW has been destroying the coin's value, as greedy industrial miners suck up as much as possible and dump it all for BTC.  And there have been no other X13 coins (except the barely-alive MARU) to share the load.

Why would you then suggest more PoW in future???

The sooner PoW ends for this coin, the better.

Please don't add more!  Especially not in a new, untested way that could have unforeseen negative consequences!!

boost.monsterhash.me is reporting 2 blocks found but only one paid out, and zero unconfirmed, and of course the site won't let me contact them via email haha, wow.

You can contact us here via PM at any time.

We've updated to the latest wallet and had to redownload the blockchain, this made some issues as we were "traveling through time" with the boost blocks downloaded Smiley

everything is fixed now, sorry for the hiccup

Thank you for the info, but still showing 2 blocks found in blockfinder and only one in transactions

Monsterhash.me, can you please explain or clarify the discrepancy noted by the user above.

If there is a logical sensible explanation then you'd better get it out there.

I'm mining at your pool, and want to know it's not an issue.

i have bad messages for all investors:

- its simply scam.... why ? look at the dev profile on github...
- 15 coins from block is going to dev - 5 % premine with all
- now i sell all coins with some profit (with lucky), trade volume is simulated...
- i am very interested if this will be pumped, but my tip is hell, good luck boys

You're an Idiot....

The 15 coins goes to the foundation for on going support and new development and the Dev has provided the foundations Address:

BKqAh5ojyS7bkjaDHJEWXxMwKNUvUsNZak

What is wrong with Dev's Github profile?

  • He has been on Github for months
  • He has committed to several other coins
  • He has forked multiple coin, stratum, and mining repos

Stop spreading FUD because you want to try to buy back in at a low price.

BOST  is the Second most profitable coin to mine right now.

Source:  Whatmine.com

Which means that there is a ton of interest in this coin and people are buying up the coins being generated by the 50 GH/s mining.

Law of supply and demand...  Right now the supply is great due to mining....  but only for the next roughly 7000 blocks.

Cheesy on this address is only 173,624.39  now we have 35922 block.... where is 365200 coins ?

God you lot are relentless..

I AM NOT DUMPING THE PREMINE..
You need to focus more of your efforts on people like this who control the markets!
https://twitter.com/smokin35

currently there are about 250,000 left in the pre-mine total, and NO as I have stated many time before i am not making the pre-mine address public, as if i do every single transaction will get FUD from all over. I need the pre-mine to freely promote this coin and pay for  things like compensation

This is the foundation address: BKqAh5ojyS7bkjaDHJEWXxMwKNUvUsNZak

The foundation address you all know and that is the public amount. And contrary to popular believe the foundation does NOT get 15 coins from every block. As from block 100 we have also been creating PoS blocks which have roughly halved the amount of PoW blocks. As you will all notice the total coin supply will be much lower than was started when the coin was launched.

On the plus side this does mean there will be far less coins so will make the coin more valuable. So for all the people who are behind BoostCoin this will be a positive thing when we get listed on mintpal.

My bad I was wrong about the 15 coins.... it is not 15 coins
