Charlie wasn't ousted, he resigned as to not make the bitcoin foundation look bad. The irony, it burns!!! Bad day for Bitcoin. Instead of a true bitcoin believer we now have a greedy pedo on board. Good pick industry members.

Never forget he was elected, so it reflects most of the members. What a scum the bitcoin foundation is.

Not really keeping up with this, but in what way does a past accusation of paedophilia detract from a person's ability to help foster Bitcoin? What is it about a supposed sexual attraction to young children or infants that causes people to abandon logic? I have never had any sort of sexual relations with anyone under age --- ever in my life --- even when I was underage myself, and I certainly have no interest in doing so. It is a horrific and despicable thing. ( Even when I was under 18, my first boyfriend was 19, and I was 17. We were together for 6 years. )
So, your first boyfriend was horrific and despicable? I've not met this boyfriend but I highly doubt he is deserving of such a description.

+1 I admit I don't understand all of this but threads like this are more of a risk to Bitcoin than PBOC Roman empire and the pirate party went down due to internal struggle, not external aggression OP is supporting the "enemy" with posts like this, and OP has also obviously issues that need to be addressed by a professional (not saying he is lying, just that he has issues).

Beginning of the end for the Bitcoin Foundation.
I was reading Brock Pierce's profile on Coindesk, and he's pretty much got no experience or significant standing in the Bitcoin industry at all. Founding a payment processor that doesn't seem to do any business does not count. Remind me how he got a candidacy nomination again? Wouldn't the Bitcoin Foundation corroborate that he is part of a viable Bitcoin business that, y'know, actually does some business?
The people at Bitcoin Foundation who made that decision have highly questionable motives for letting this non-entity onto the ballot list. Do we know who at the foundation is responsible?

Phinnaeus Gage, My respect for you dropped 50% after reading this thread. Page 2 actually had some substance though. While I don't condone rape, you were implying the mere accusation is enough to disqualify someone from board membership. The Four Horsemen of the Infocalypse are approximately "drug-dealers, money-launderers, terrorists, and pedophiles." When terrorist financing became illegal after 2001, the reporting thresholds banks need to comply with KYC laws were largely dropped. Terrorism is scary precisely because it is so cheap. I think we can expect to see Bitcoin funded terrorism within 5 years. Note: I am excluding "economic terrorism", which as far as I can tell, includes any successful boycott

Did they silence a troll.... or a whistleblower ? Old members shouldn't get preferential treatment if they break the rules. No one would be complaining if a new member got banned for swearing at a moderator. Sometimes people need to be made an example of in order to keep others in check.
You don't get banned for swearing at a moderator. MPOE-PR was asked to stop spamming/trolling by Maged, and rather than stopping, she swore at him. The act of insulting Maged itself didn't get her banned, it was the warning, and then lack of acknowledgement of the warning that got the ban.

And this is relevant to their ability to do their job for Bitcoin, how?
I don't give a damn about people's sex life, I'll leave that to the courts.

I missed that thread, albeit I don't have any serious gripes with TBF with the exception of what this thread is about. I paid for a yearly membership and probably would do so again, regardless if BP is still on the board or not, not opting to give TBF an ultimatum over twenty-five bucks. The above may come across as odd, but please bear in mind that I'm a pretty straight-up guy.
