So I've been thinking:
X11 is cooler, consumes about 40% less electricity. Should be very important for all GPU miners (or almost all of them). So why all X11 coins are not profitable to mine?
What is your opinion?

Because of the 40% less electricity, more miners mine and thus the revenue is lower. So if your electricity is really really high then it might be more profit to mine x11 then.

I went to a 2600 meeting and was offered a modified cgminer and driver for Gridseed to mine X11. The dude wanted 20 BTC for it. I watched him install it and submit shares so its legit. fpga
yeah,many many fpga mining x11

As not every scrypt coin is profitable to mine, same goes with X11 coins also.

remember that x11 miner are not optimized, this mean that someone have the optimized miner already and he/they is/are miing with +50%-100% more hashrate

Because t too many coins using X11 algorithm, you even can't count how many, but the current market situation is not very good,so low.

Yes, same thing happened with XPM , GPU miner was made public after long time when XPM mining became less profitable . Even now XPM GPU miner is sold. So if there is any optimised version of cgminer or fpga , I don't think you will get it unless you pay hefty amount.

that's funny stackmasher is telling the same story on different thread (some dude wanted to sell it some modified asic miner) twice: *1 for scrypt-n *1 for X11
So didn't you pay the 30BTC (10 for scrypt-n, 20 for X11) ?

Actually the SCRYPT-N was only for a private pool. I am just trying to keep people from getting ripped off.... is that a crime? that's funny stackmasher is telling the same story on different thread (some dude wanted to sell it some modified asic miner) twice: *1 for scrypt-n *1 for X11
