Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I have so much to learn about Namecoin but that being said I think this is a good sign for the supporters of this coin.  Almost a seal of approval that the coin has a use and a bright future, maybe.
