There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

How many btc are you requesting for the card? Do you have any other forum trades? If you don't have much prior experience, then I kindly ask that you send first and once I confirm it works, I'll send. I have hundreds of trades via -otc and these forums. I asked about irc because we could use #bitcoin-escrow if need be  |

Edit: Or half upfront, half after would be fine. I really don't think you'll fuck me over, it's just that it's happened too many times before. |
