This is just a reminder for people who are concerned about Bitcoinica. Remember that it can be exploited both ways, not only when people buy a lot of coins with high leverage. Those who short are also in danger. Made this thread because many seem to worry explicitly about people going long with leverage, again, and getting fucked. To me the situation is fairly neutral right now and I would worry as much, if not more, if I was shorting.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.
