Is this banknote still legal tender?

When I was young my father gave me this banknote, which I have kept ever since:



Is it still valid?
If not when did it stop being valid?
Can I go to a bank in Romania and exchange it for Euro?

This banknote is not legal tender anymore. It was issued in 1999 or so, with the occasion of the 2000* full Solar eclipse, which was best viewed from Romania(hence it's 2000 Lei/ROL value).
However, in the meantime we switched from ROL(ROmanian Leu) to RON(ROmanian New leu). This banknote might still have some numismatic value.

LE: The eclipse was actually in 1999. Still, this banknote has a somewhat anniversary ring to it.
